I believe I can fly.....

Just a quick post to state that I have enjoyed probably the pinacle of my recovery. This past weekend I had the pleasure of being Master of Ceremony at my brothers wedding. My speeches flowed like melted butter on a hot summer day and all the compliments I received afterwards hightend the feeling of accomplishment even more. My sincere thanks to everyone who gave me those winks, smiles and warm handshakes.

Strangely enough my social off-the-cuff speaking needs some discpline...nontheless my number of contacs has reached 6001. Plans to be "Great Teacher Hein-San" are progressing....

1 - Hey Hein!

I think to leave your comfort zone-give up everything you worked for, in order for you too overcome your biggest struggle in life is beyond amazing.

I cannot begin to imagine what it feels like to not be able to express yourself verbally. I am a natural "speaker". I love public speaking...I love to communicate with people...you could say it is one of my strongest traits...I can always talk about something, without struggling.

You humbled me this weekend. I have been taking my gift for granted. I've never thought about it untill now.

I suffer from major depression, but I can tell you that this weekend has been so good for me, meeting you. I want to follow your lead...

Well, enough typing for now...talk later.

But well done!! You don't know me, and this will probably sound weird, but I am proud of you, because it takes a hell of a lot of guts to do what you did.

Good luck with everything!!

Love

2 - Hi Hein

Well done on your wedding speech, what an amazing achievment! A very challenging situation and sounds like you not only spoke well, but actually enjoyed it as well.

Great picture of you and Jaques on your new- look web page by the way... must have been taken by a spectacularly talented photographer ;)
